Join artist Alja Slemensek for a Hearts of Memory embroidery workshop—a quiet, creative space for reflection and connection in the wake of loss.
Designed for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one, this session invites you to slow down, remember, and craft something deeply personal with your hands and heart. You’ll create one of Alja’s signature embroidered hearts, choosing from two meaningful pathways:
Personal Memory – Stitch your heart onto a clothing item that belonged to your loved one, transforming it into a tactile keepsake.
Compassionate Gifting – Create a heart to offer someone else who is grieving, as a handmade gesture of comfort and care. If you choose this option, please bring a meaningful clothing item of your loved one.
